About the service

Many concerns. Every skin tone. One platform.

Aerolase® is the laser platform we trust across our service line — chosen because it's safe for every skin type, comfortable enough not to need numbing, and effective on concerns that older lasers cannot treat. Your provider matches the protocol to what you want addressed, and combination therapy in a single visit is often possible.

Step 01

All skin types

Safe and effective across the full Fitzpatrick range — including darker skin tones that conventional lasers cannot treat without risk.

Step 02

Virtually painless

Numbing cream is not required for most treatments. Most clients describe the sensation as warm.

Step 03

No downtime

Non-ablative treatments. Mild redness for a few hours is the only expected side effect. You return to normal activities the same day.

Treatment categories

Five categories, one platform.

Your provider builds a plan around the specific concern you want to address. Multiple concerns can often be treated in a single visit.

Acne & Scarring

01 — Skin Concern

Acne & Scarring

Calm active breakouts and smooth the appearance of indented scars over a series. May reduce sebaceous activity and target acne-causing bacteria, without harsh topicals.

Pigment & Tone

02 — Skin Concern

Pigment & Tone

Help lighten the appearance of melasma, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and uneven tone — across all Fitzpatrick skin types, including the darker tones where laser selection matters most.

Redness & Vessels

03 — Skin Concern

Redness & Vessels

Treat rosacea, persistent facial redness, and spider veins. Targets the vessels responsible for visible redness.

Rejuvenation & Tightening

04 — Skin Quality

Rejuvenation & Tightening

Build new collagen for smoother fine lines, firmer skin, and a refreshed overall glow. Non-ablative, so you leave looking refreshed — not red and peeling.

Hair Removal & PFB

05 — Hair Reduction

Hair Removal & PFB

Long-term hair reduction across face and body, including for clients with ingrown hairs (pseudofolliculitis barbae) and across all Fitzpatrick skin types.

Why Aerolase

Built around a platform that works across all skin types.

Most laser platforms involve trade-offs between energy delivery, skin-type compatibility, and comfort. Aerolase is designed to minimize those trade-offs across our service line.

All Skin Tones

Safe on Fitzpatrick I–VI.

Particularly relevant for melasma, PFB, and pigment work, where laser selection matters most for darker skin tones.

Multiple Concerns

Combine treatments per visit.

Combination therapy is often possible — for example, redness reduction paired with hair removal or a pigment protocol in a single session.

Comfort & Speed

No numbing, no downtime.

Most sessions run 20–30 minutes. Mild warmth during, mild redness after, normal activities the same day.

Your treatment plan

Consult, treat, maintain.

Aerolase® treats a wide range of conditions, so your provider builds a plan around your specific concerns rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Skin R&R Laser Treatments planning

Step 01 - Consult

Identify what to treat.

We review your skin type, the concerns you want addressed, and any conditions or medications that affect candidacy.

Step 02 - Treat

Series sized to the concern.

Most protocols run 3 to 8 sessions depending on what we're treating. Rejuvenation: 3 to 6. Acne: 4 to 8. Hair: 6 to 8. Pigment: variable.

Step 03 - Maintain

Touch-ups when needed.

After the initial series, periodic maintenance keeps results consistent, especially for conditions like melasma and rosacea with ongoing triggers.

Common questions

Before you book.

Common questions clients ask before their first Aerolase session.

What can Aerolase® treat?+
A wide range — including acne and acne scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, spider veins, skin rejuvenation and tightening, ingrown hairs (PFB), laser hair reduction, stretch marks, and more. Your provider will confirm whether your specific concern is a good fit.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?+
Yes. Aerolase® is safe and effective across Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI — including the darker tones that conventional lasers can damage.
Does it hurt?+
Most clients feel mild warmth. No numbing cream is required for most treatments. Sessions are much more comfortable than older laser or IPL devices.
How many sessions do I need?+
It depends on the condition. Skin rejuvenation typically needs 3–6 sessions. Acne protocols run 4–8. Hair removal: 6–8. Pigment work varies. Your provider builds a personalized plan at your consultation.
Can I combine treatments in the same visit?+
Often, yes. For example, a laser facial paired with a peel, or pigment treatment combined with hair reduction. Your provider will confirm what's appropriate for your skin.
What areas can you treat?+
Face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini, Brazilian, chest, abs, back, and custom areas. Everywhere except the eye area.
What's the downtime?+
None for most services. Mild redness for a few hours is the only expected side effect. You can return to normal activities immediately.
How should I prep?+
For hair reduction: shave the area the day before; don't wax or pluck for 4 weeks. For pigment or skin work: avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for 2 weeks prior.
