Years of sun. Gently undone.

Sun damage shows up in many forms — uneven tone, scattered spots, dullness, fine pigment irregularities. The Aerolase Neo can help address the pigment-related component, restoring more even tone across the face, chest, and other sun-exposed areas.

— Our Approach

A gentle path to even.

Years of accumulated sun damage take time to address — but the process can be steady and predictable with the right technology and a consistent home routine.

— The Technology

650 microseconds of precision.

The Aerolase Neo's 650-microsecond pulse targets the pigment that drives sun-damage discoloration without bulk heating. Energy hits the chromophore, then exits — keeping the surrounding skin calm.

It's contactless. There's no cooling gel, no anesthetic — three details that matter for a series of treatments addressing accumulated damage.

— What It May Help

What it supports.

  • May reduce the appearance of sun-induced pigment changes
  • Supports more even tone in sun-exposed areas
  • FDA-cleared for benign pigmented lesions on Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI
  • Suitable for face, chest, hands, and arms
  • Pairs well with antioxidant serums and daily SPF
  • A gentler alternative to many ablative resurfacing approaches

— Maintenance

Daily SPF.

Sun protection is the foundation. Without it, the same exposure that caused the damage will continue to undo treatment progress. We'll recommend a formulation that fits your routine.

Most sun damage benefits from a short series of sessions paired with a strong home routine.

02

— Treatment

In-office sessions.

Each Aerolase session typically runs 20–30 minutes. The treatment is contactless and most clients return to their day right after, with little to no downtime.

Sessions are typically spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Improvements appear progressively across the series, with continued evening of tone for weeks after the final visit.

Good questions. Simple answers.

Is the treatment safe for darker skin tones?
The Aerolase Neo is FDA-cleared for use on all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI), including melanin-rich skin. Its short 650-microsecond pulse is designed to minimize the heat-related side effects that can be a concern with some traditional treatments. Any treatment risks specific to your skin will be reviewed during your complimentary consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most sun-damage clients see meaningful results in three to six sessions. The exact number depends on the extent of damage, your skin tone, and how your skin responds. Your consultation will set realistic expectations.
Will more sun damage develop?
Yes — without protection. Daily broad-spectrum SPF and protective habits are essential to prevent new damage and preserve your results.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as a series of brief, warm pulses. The treatment is contactless and doesn't typically require numbing, though sensitivity varies. If you have particularly sensitive skin, let your provider know during the consultation and they'll adjust the protocol.
Can I treat my chest and hands, not just my face?
Yes. The Aerolase Neo can be used on sun-exposed areas including the face, chest, hands, and arms. Your treatment plan can include multiple areas.
Is there any downtime?
Most clients return to their day right after a session. You may see brief redness or warmth in the treated area for a few hours. Specific aftercare instructions will be provided based on your treatment.
