Stretch marks, gently softened.

Stretch marks — from growth, weight changes, pregnancy, or other causes — are a form of scarring in the dermal layer of the skin. The Aerolase Neo's contactless approach may help support the appearance of striae over a treatment series.

— Our Approach

Striae, thoughtfully addressed.

Stretch marks are an established skin change. Treatment is patient and supportive — meaningful improvement over a series of sessions.

— The Technology

650 microseconds of precision.

The Aerolase Neo's 650-microsecond pulse delivers controlled energy that may support skin renewal processes in striae, without bulk heating that can disturb sensitive areas.

It's contactless. No cooling gel, no anesthetic, no surface contact — appropriate for the larger surface areas that stretch marks often involve.

— What It May Help

What it may support.

  • May support the appearance of stretch marks (striae)
  • Can be used on areas like abdomen, hips, thighs, breasts, arms
  • Suitable for use on all Fitzpatrick skin types
  • More effective on newer (red/purple) striae than mature (white) ones — discussed at consultation
  • Use for stretch marks may extend beyond cleared indications
  • Honest expectations set during your consultation

— What to Expect

A clear path.

Stretch marks improve gradually. The right plan combines patience with consistent home care.

02

— Treatment

In-office sessions.

Each Aerolase session typically runs 20–30 minutes. The treatment is contactless and most clients return to their day right after, with little to no downtime.

— Common Questions

Good questions. Simple answers.

If you don't see your question here, our team is happy to answer it during your free consultation.

Is the treatment safe for darker skin tones?
The Aerolase Neo is FDA-cleared for use on all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI), including melanin-rich skin. Its short 650-microsecond pulse is designed to minimize the heat-related side effects that can be a concern with some traditional treatments. Any treatment risks specific to your skin will be reviewed during your complimentary consultation.
Newer or older stretch marks — does it matter?
Generally, newer striae (red, purple, or pink) respond better to laser treatment than mature (white or silver) ones. Your consultation includes an honest assessment based on the age and color of your stretch marks.
Will the stretch marks disappear?
Complete elimination is generally not realistic — stretch marks are established dermal changes. Meaningful improvement in appearance is the realistic goal.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as a series of brief, warm pulses. The treatment is contactless and doesn't typically require numbing, though sensitivity varies. If you have particularly sensitive skin, let your provider know during the consultation and they'll adjust the protocol.
Can I treat stretch marks after pregnancy?
Yes, once you're cleared by your physician post-pregnancy or post-nursing. Many clients pursue treatment in the months after birth when stretch marks are still relatively new.
How big an area can be treated?
Sessions can address multiple areas — abdomen, hips, thighs, breasts, arms — though larger areas may extend session time. Your consultation will plan the scope.
