Accessibility Statement
Skin RR, LLC ("Skin R&R") is committed to making skinrr.com and all related digital experiences accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that the same warmth and care that defines a Skin R&R visit in person should be present from the first moment someone reaches the website — and that includes the ability to navigate, read, and interact with our site regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to design, build, and maintain skinrr.com in a way that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the technical standard most commonly referenced by U.S. courts and regulators in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and analogous state laws including the California Unruh Civil Rights Act.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. As we add features, publish new content, and roll out franchise location pages, we work to maintain the same standard across the entire site.
Accessibility features
The following features are built into the Skin R&R website to support visitors with disabilities:
Standards and review process
We design and build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and incorporate accessibility into our development process. New pages are reviewed for accessibility issues before publication. We use automated accessibility scanning tools, manual keyboard testing, and screen-reader testing to identify and resolve issues.
If a third-party audit has been conducted on the site, we will note the auditor and the date here following each engagement.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address known limitations, which include:
- Some third-party content embedded on the site — such as social media feeds, video players, and certain form widgets — may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Where possible, we work with vendors to improve accessibility or provide alternative ways to access the information.
- Older media assets (photographs, PDFs, videos) added before our current accessibility process may have incomplete alt text, captions, or transcripts. We are remediating these as they are identified.
- The franchise location pages are independently maintained by franchisees in some cases. Skin R&R provides accessibility guidance to franchisees, but the location pages may have their own accessibility profiles.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on the site, please let us know — see Section 6.
Assistive technologies and browsers
The Skin R&R website is designed to work with the following assistive technologies and browsers, when used with recent versions:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Microsoft Edge
- Operating systems: Windows 10 or later, macOS 11 or later, iOS 15 or later, Android 10 or later
If you use a different combination and encounter problems, please let us know so we can investigate.
Requesting assistance or reporting an issue
If you are having difficulty accessing any part of the Skin R&R website, if you need information in an alternative format, or if you have any other accessibility-related question or feedback, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within five business days. If your request relates to scheduling a service or interacting with a specific location, we will route it to the appropriate franchisee promptly.
